Printing on Transparent media
At Testrite, we specialize in direct printing on clear materials such as acrylic and polycarbonate, offering versatile solutions that enhance both visual impact and durability. Printing on transparent substrates opens up a wide range of creative possibilities, and our in-house capabilities allow us to execute each project with precision and consistency.
First Surface Printing
With first surface printing, graphics are applied directly to the front of the material. This approach delivers bold, vibrant color and sharp detail, making it ideal for applications where immediate visual impact is important. The print sits on the outer surface, creating a crisp, high-contrast appearance suited for a wide range of retail and display environments.
Second Surface Printing
For a more elevated and refined result, second surface printing places the image on the reverse side of the material, allowing it to be viewed through the clear substrate. This method creates a smoother, more polished appearance while naturally protecting the graphic from scratches, handling, and wear. The clarity and thickness of the material also introduce a subtle lensing effect, enhancing depth and richness and giving the final piece a more dimensional, high-end look. The result is a finish that not only offers added durability, but also delivers a stronger visual presence and a more premium feel compared to surface printing.
