Testrite Visual Rolls out SEG Frames with New Tool Free Assembly Design

What is SEG 

SEG stands for silicone edge graphics.  These are high-resolution printed fabric graphics with a thin silicone strip sewn into the edge.  They can be printed with UV, dye sublimation, latex or solvent graphic printing. 
The silicone edge is inserted into the aluminum extruded frame providing a clean, versatile aesthetic. 


 
Our Charisma SEG frames have exploded in popularity since they were first introduced over fifteen years ago. Today,
they continue to be one of the most sought-after visual display solutions, especially for retail and trade shows.  Testrite Visual has over 25 SEG frame solutions available.

The Charisma SEG Line 

Our Charisma SEG frames have been in our wheelhouse for over fifteen years.  When SEG graphics were first introduced, we were one of the first to create aluminum extruded display hardware to fit.   
That is one of the advantages of being a family-owned, fourth-generation, US manufacturer - we are nimble and quick. We have over 100 years of experience, existing tooling, and know-how, to create new products in hours or days!
 
Over the last fifteen years, we have introduced 28 different SEG frame options from the slim SEG frame, mini SEG Frame, single sided SEG frame, double sided SEG frame and hanging SEG frame.   
 
When ordering SEG frames online, customers can easily select the size, color, graphics, and accessories they need, or submit a custom request. We offer low minimums for custom solutions and quick quotes to keep your project moving forward.

Pain Points in Visual Display: As our SEG frame line grew, so did relationships with visual merchandisers, designers and print partners around the country.  These relationships help us keep a pulse on the industry and our existing selection of SEG frames packs a lot of punch,
with hanging SEG frames, wall mount SEG Frames, free-standing SEG frames, and SEG/LED frames, in many sizes and design options.  Our Backlit Fabric frames are especially popular, featuring Edge Lit SEG lightboxes. We continue to keep our eyes and ears open for pain points and remain a custom manufacturer who can quickly respond to these pain points.  
 
We have designed custom solutions to better meet the store, set up, installation and design needs of our customers.  More often, we design custom hardware to address a specific pain point due to an existing solution that needs to be replaced.   
 
There were big recurring pain points that kept coming up in conversations, design meetings, and sales calls. They included:


 

• SEG Frames were complicated taking time to set up on-site

In the past our SEG frames came with aluminum and steel brackets that secured with screws for quick assembly on-site.  While assembly was straightforward for many, for overburdened store associates, this wasn’t ideal.
Many retailers spend thousands of dollars for expert installation teams on site, and even though assembly was easy for these experts, it still took time. 
 
With the new SEG frame and tool-free assembly, there is no hardware to misplace, no special tools. No need to line up a screw with a hole. Every unit now has a our built-in Hook and Snap™  tool free Charisma closure.
This design is going to revolutionize visual merchandising making it easier for brands to utilize on-the-ground associates, save time and money, and invest in hardware that is functional, durable and long-lasting.

This built-in Hook and Snap™ tool free Charisma closure may not be able with all charisma models due to the unique construction requirements of the products like those in the Charisma Structures line and some in the Charisma SEG stands line,
these products will continue to use its existing assembly design. Tool-free assembly will not be available.  This includes the SEG Insight Out Light Boxes ™ and Charisma SEG 3D ™,
