 According to Google research, 47% of those who planned to shop for the holidays said they’ll use options to shop online and pick up either in-store or curbside. 
 Google further found that:
 
·         In 2019, holiday shoppers reported that they made 58% of purchases online.
 
·         In 2020, almost 75% of shoppers said they’ll shop online more for the holidays than they did in previous seasons, and a similar number said they would browse for gift ideas online rather than in a store.

Interior Signage for In-Store Pickup
When customers buy online for in store pickup, they expect to save time and avoid most of the traditional brick and mortar headaches. When a customer enters your store, they should immediately know where to go for online pickup. Directional signage for online pickup (BOPIS)
should be prominently displayed at every entrance. Just as importantly, the Online Pickup Area should be boldly signed so that customers don’t walk by it and grow frustrated with the experience.
