Testrite's Green Initiative
Testrite Visual Products has made a strong commitment to being environmentally friendly.
Our approach has been to incorporate a large percentage of recycled materials in our manufacturing process, and at the same time maintain product quality and integrity.
Aluminum, steel and corrugated represent 90% of the material used.
- Aluminum - currently 25% of our aluminum is produced from recycled billet, and as more recycled billet becomes available, this percentage will increase.
- Steel - if from integrated mills, recycled content is - 20%; and if from mini mills, 98% is recycled.
- Our corrugated (boxes) medium and liner board vendors use on average 70% recycled materials.
