We are proud of our rich history:
Founded in 1919 in lower Manhattan by my grandfather, Herman Neuwirth, Testrite was originally an importer and manufacturer of scientific instruments.
WW II forced the company to rely solely on manufacturing, producing government specified optical goods and war materials.
In 1955 the company moved to Newark, N.J. For the next five decades we manufactured photographic, art material, office product, audio-visual, & educational accessories under our own brand name and others.
Continuing our traditional ways:
Our goal is to manufacture product to fulfill our customers' market opportunities.
With robust reseller margins and no outside salespeople, we rely on our customers to sell for us. Our products often help sell more of our customers' core products.
Whats new?
Our name and location for one; we are very excited about the many changes taking place at Testrite®. Moving forward we are now Testrite Visual Products, Inc. located in Hackensack, N.J. on 4 acres in a new 90,000 sq. ft. one story facility.
These changes reflect a new dynamic attitude at Testrite®, and we are proud to introduce many exciting new product lines and line extensions.
Product development is largely determined by our customers, and what their clients are asking them to supply.
